Careers

Career development is a lifelong process of managing learning, work, leisure and transitions in order to move towards a personally determined and evolving preferred future. It involves developing the skills and knowledge that enable you to plan and make informed decisions about your education, training and career choices. You can develop your skills and discover career opportunities through:

  • paid work
  • unpaid work experience
  • volunteering
  • education
  • hobbies
  • cultural activities.

You can undertake some simple steps such as listing your goals, likes and dislikes, strengths and weaknesses, interests and passions, and careers that interest you.
